St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton’s (SJHH)

I had the opportunity to visit St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton’s (SJHH) West 5th Campus today, alongside my friend and Conservative colleague, MP Dan Muys. I got to see many of the incredible innovations that has made St. Joe’s a Canadian leader grappling with the mental health and toxic drug crisis. They’re doing clinical research here that will have a significant impact on care across Southwestern Ontario, which SJHH serves from its Hamilton base. Thank you to SJHH President Dr. Mike Heenan and his team for the tour and engaging roundtable discussion. We also talked about the healthcare human resources challenge and related issues. Common Sense Conservatives will help get more doctors and nurses into frontline care with our Blue Seal program. We are also working to bring home hope for all Canadians.
